Event Details

The India Business Forum at the London Business School  invites you to attend our conference " Business opportunities in rural India " where leading academics, heads of multinational businesses, successful entrepreneurs, policy experts and ministers in government will debate key issues in setting up,running and scaling up sustainable businesses in Rural India.

At the conference you will:

  • Explore investment opportunities and fundraising options with venture capitalists, investment professionals, and entrepreneurs.
  • Size the market for microfinance and ancillary financial products with CEO’s of banks and microfinance companies.
  • Understand supply chain issues in connecting rural production centres and urban markets with CEO’s of consumer goods companies, the head of a village “panchayat” and policy experts.

Proceeds of all ticket sales go to "Pratham" (www.pratham.org) a charity supporting childrens education in India.
